We went on an overnight trip and needed someone to check on and let our 3 dogs out in the evening and again on Sunday morning. We called Pet Gal and Pet Gal Wanda called us back. She was very nice and arranged to come over to meet our "guys" and us. It' was obvious when we met she is really interested and kind. She asked all the right questions about what care our pets needed and set times she would look in on them. We were thrilled with her interest and she also sent us pictures of them while she was taking care of them! She has since called us to make sure we were pleased, which we were, and said she would be happy to help us in the future. We are so glad we called Pet Gals and will use them again when the need arises.

I have interviewed several pet sitters for my ragamuffin Wrigley; however, with Ashe it was love at first sight. Wrigley immediately approached her and performed his trademark flop and began purring - this is his ultimate endorsement. Throughout her initial visit with us, Ashe asked key questions about Wrigley to learn about our routine, but more importantly about his personality. Links will go in here.She left with a key to my apartment and dates for my next trip out of town. Since then Ashe has been my only pet sitter. During each visit she sends sweet pictures of my spoiled boy flirting with her and text updates. Her affection for Wrigley comes through in the text messages and his affection for her is evident in the pictures. She has gone above and beyond on several occasions! I know she spoils Wrigley as much, if not more, as I do! Given my experience with Ashe I plan to entrust Wrigley with The Pet Gal for all of my future trips out of town.

We have 3 dogs, two are high energy labs and need walks, love and a lot of TLC. I'm very picky about who takes care of my dogs and totally trust them in our house, which is a huge relief when we're out of town. Susan always sends me text messages and pictures which I love! We highly recommend them and have referred them to many family and friends. My dogs are my babies and I wouldn't leave them with anybody unless I was 100% sure they were getting the best care possible!

In the past, I was always anxious about going on vacation and leaving my dogs. I boarded them, but my dogs always came home out of sorts and it took a week to get them back to "normal." I thought my dogs would much rather stay in the comfort of their own home, so I decided to try a pet-sitter for our next vacation. I contacted several pet-sitting companies and found The Pet Gal's pricing to be very reasonable especially when compared to other companies. I decided to give them a try due to the reviews I read and based on my first communication with Susan.

Before they start pet-sitting, they assign you a Pet Gal who usually lives in your area. This person will be the one who primarily cares for your pets. Our Pet Gal, Beth, came over before we left for vacation to meet us and our dogs. She also was able to ask questions and after the meeting we felt very comfortable with Beth. We felt that she cared about our dogs and connected with them immediately. We have now used The Pet Gal several times (for long and short vacations) and every time has been awesome. I am no longer anxious about leaving my dogs because I know they will be well taken care of. Beth and another Pet Gal, Amy, have both cared for our dogs and they are amazing. We have them come twice a day, which is a good amount for our dogs.

I absolutely love getting the updates and photos from them on a daily basis. It puts my mind at ease and allows me to enjoy my vacation. Plus, it is nice because they pick up the mail and put away your trash can, too! I would not hesitate in recommending The Pet Gal. Absolutely wonderful!

So there I was. Newly relocated from halfway across the country and in sudden need of care for my furry family. In 2009 I hadn't even been in town long enough to make any connections. I hated the thought of boarding the kiddos; not only because they generally despise that situation, but we had also *just* made a major move and they were already feeling a little stressed.

I took to Google! I don't recall what made me ultimately settle on Susan and her newly developed business, but am I glad I ever did!! She came over for the initial meet-n-greet with the fuzzy-butts and it was immediately apparent how much she truly loved animals and how enthusiastic she was about her job. I was really impressed with how thorough she was in collecting information on my pets; not only the basic when do they eat, how much do they eat, where are the leashes/carriers, but also what are their favorite games, where do they hide, how do they like to interact, etc. It was reassuring to me, as an owner, that she took such an in depth interest in each of my pets as individuals. During my time away I received daily updates and pictures via text; the cats always looked so chill and relaxed and the dogs always had their happy grins and wagging tails. . .it made my heart happy to get those.

That was 4 years ago. The Pet Gal has grown by leaps and bounds since then, but the passion and enthusiasm remains. I've gotten to know Susan and some of her team members, and their dedication to animals; not only as it pertains to the business, but also to the rescue groups they are involved with, is second to none!

I have used the Pet Gal ever since that first weekend away and have never been disappointed. My crew loves those ladies, and I know they love my crew. It is evident in every update, every picture, every video I get while I'm away. More importantly, it is evident in how happy and "normal" my pets are when I get home, regardless of how long I've been gone - as if I just ran out for groceries and they got to have a play-date with a good friend. . .you can't beat that.

These ladies save my life!!! They are wonderful and love my puppies and my puppies love them. Sometimes I can't give a big notice when I go out of town and they are always ready to step in and help me out. I trust them fully with my babies! When I went out of town for the holidays one of my dogs got sick and had an accident in the kitchen, and they cleaned it up and even washed my rug in the kitchen. Above and beyond service!!! They are in constant contact with me when I go out of town and sending me text messages with pictures so I can see my babies while I am away! I would recommend these ladies to anyone. My dogs love that someone can come in to the house rather than me sending them to a kennel. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM! Five stars do not do them justice!!!

I cant say enough good things about The Pet Gal, she probably took better care of our dogs, parrots, horses and chickens than we do! She really listened to my instructions, paid attention to detail and went above and beyond to meet everyones needs. We're grateful that shes taken us on as clients.

My animals -- all 12 of them -- are my life. I have a hard time traveling and leaving them in the care of anyone because they are so important to me. Then I found The Pet Gal! Susan Anderson gave me the gift of being able to travel and not worry once about any of my animals because I knew they were in good hands. She tended to not only my 5 permanent dogs but also to any foster dogs we happened to have while she was out at our ranch near Austin. She also expertly cared for our horses and donkeys -- even bottle feeding a rescue mini donkey for us! I've never trusted anyone with my animals the way I am able to trust Susan. In fact, after moving to Colorado and interviewing not one, not two, but THREE local "professional" pet sitters whom I did not feel comfortable leaving my pets with, I called Susan. I was more than happy to pay for her to come up to Colorado to take care of our pets so that I could attend a family wedding with no worries about my animals. Actually, she's been up here twice and I see more and more travel in her future to Colorado. You can tell that someone knows what they are doing when an animal owner as picky as myself hires her from out of state. You can trust Susan and her team with your pets -- they treat them as though they were there own, much-loved pets! I cannot say enough good things about The Pet Gal.

I can't say enough good things about these ladies. We use them all the time to help us out when life gets a little too crazy to walk the dogs or when we are both out of town. I knew they were great but Rayna even helped me look for one of my cats when he got out, which pretty well proves they actually care about my animals. My trainer told me about these gals and I also really appreciate that they maintain good training when they walk my dogs. The dogs adore this team and my cats do too. It is always hard to tell what the fish thinks.

What makes the Pet Gal so special? Impeccable credentials and great references are a good place to start but, they dont tell the whole story. Last March I moved to Round Rock only to get sick and find out that I needed to have surgery. Thank heavens I found The Pet Gal and gave her a call. She has been helping through this tough patch in ways that go beyond pet care. My dogs are so fickle; I think they love Susan more than me now. Even the cats come running to greet her when she arrives to walk to the dogs.

This service was amazing! I hired The Pet Gal to care for my 3 cats and a parrot while I was attending my mother in hospice out of state. Unfortunately that stay was extended as my mom passed away. Not only did they see to the cats needs, they cared for my African Gray parrot which I have never trusted anyone to care for since he BITES! Ashe handled him with no injuries and even cleaned the cage! My cats eat a special diet that I cook. When I learned that I needed to stay an extra week, Susan stepped up and COOKED the cats special recipe! That meant sooooo much to me. I will use them again and again in the future.
