Pets have always been a huge part of my life. At 12 years old, I started working at my dad’s veterinarian clinic during the summers to discover my compassion for animals. I was born and raised in Sugar Land, TX, and after graduating from Texas A&M with a teaching degree, I moved to Austin in 2000. I taught middle school math for 10 years and then met the love of my life, Jason. We started a family together and now have two wonderful children, 9 and 12.

Our family also consists of two perfect dogs: Harbor & Smiley. Harbor is a healer shepherd mix that we adopted from a shelter when she was 6 weeks old. She is a ball of energy, and we call her our forever puppy even though she is now 7 years old. Smiley, a miniature greyhound mix, joined our family 2 years ago. My sister found him on her ranch bone-thin and scared. We believe he was abused and dumped, but lucky for him and us, he crossed her path. After months of recovery, we gladly welcomed him to our family. Smiley is very loved (bed in every room!) and has been the perfect addition to our family. We also have 3 cats from the same litter: Lulu, Lilly, & Louie. They were left on the doorstep of my dad’s clinic when they were two days old. After a donor mama cat nursed them and vet technicians gave lots of care, we were able to bring them home at 5 weeks old. It has been wonderful for our family to experience their sibling relationship and see them grow up together. They rule the roost!

I enjoy traveling, skiing, indoor volleyball, camping, and spending time with my family in my personal time. I am patient and kind-hearted with attention to detail. I know how challenging it can be to leave your pets by themselves, so know I will care for them like they were my very own. I look forward to meeting your wonderful pets.
