Hi, my name is Beckie, and I am excited to be a part of The Pet Gal team! Pet Gals, and Guys, have been taking care of my pups, Ginger, and Pinocchio, for the last two years.

I am from Houston, Texas, and now reside in the Cedar Park area. I moved to Cedar Park almost four years ago to teach at Texas School for the Blind & Visually Impaired. I enjoy the outdoor walks with my dogs and exploring all of the nearby places to enjoy nature. I volunteer with Safe in Austin Rescue, “a sanctuary that rescues animals from severe abuse and neglect.” Safe in Austin attracted my attention because they provide a safe space for animals and people with disabilities, and those who suffer from abuse or neglect.

I love any and all animal companions and enjoy the opportunity to care for many different breeds and species of animals. Prior to welcoming canine companions into my life, I shared space with cats, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, and a bearded dragon.
