I moved to Austin in May of 2016 from Louisville, Kentucky with my husband and 6 rescue pups.
My love for all animals has been strong since a very early age. I can remember like it was
yesterday, dressing up our pups and cats in all my cabbage patch doll clothes and pushing them
around in strollers. I wanted nothing to do with dolls, only my animals.
My husband and I have adopted 16 dogs over the years with the majority of them being special
needs, seniors and puppy mill survivors. I am a dedicated advocate for adopting senior pets.
I ran a professional pet sitting/dog walking business in Kentucky for 6 years. I have been a
volunteer for several Kentucky rescue groups and am looking forward to volunteering here in
Austin. My pups are my biggest hobby but I also enjoy working out at the gym, trying out new
places to eat and catching as many concerts as I possibly can.
I feel very fortunate that I have been given the opportunity to join The Pet Gal. I’m looking
forward to joining the other wonderful Pet Gal pet sitters and getting back into what I feel is my
calling, my passion and truly where my heart is. I know how strong our bonds are with our pets
and how stressful and worrisome it can be when trying to find people we can trust to care for
them like we do ourselves. I’m thrilled I get to be that person for others.
I can’t wait to meet you and your pets!
