Hi, my name is Claudia, and I was born and raised in Lima, Peru. I had the privilege of living on a big property in Lima and being surrounded by many different animals, including dogs, cats, birds, llamas, and snakes.

When I moved to Texas, I decided to continue my love for animals; however, it was a challenge to find a pet immediately as I didn’t have a lot of space at our house, so I started volunteering at animal shelters. I enjoyed taking dogs out for walks, playtime with cats, and donating food and toys to them. I became part of The Pet Gal many years later, and I feel fortunate to be part of an amazing team with such compassionate sitters.

I’m also involved with The Pet Gal’s Wedding Pet Attendant services, where we enable brides and grooms to take part in their big day, creating memories for a lifetime. We provide everything from pet transportation to and from the venue to walks down the aisle to photoshoot assistance.

I now have two dogs (Charlie, a 12-year-old Cocker Spaniel, Bentley, a six-month-old Red Heeler Border collie mix), a Bunny named Luna a corn snake named Onix. My pets are my everything, and the services I provide to my clients are exactly the type of service I would want for my fur babies. I’m also very aware each pet has their own personality and style so I try and adapt to exactly what my clients’ pets need and want.

I love my job for many reasons, but one of my favorite reasons has to be the excitement I get when I first meet clients’ pets. I love gaining a new fur friend as they can instantly make my day brighter, and for that, I will always be thankful.
