Pet Gal Cedar Park

team member

Hi! My name is Donna Cagle and I am a native Austinite. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Nutrition 37 years ago! I’ve been married just as long and have 4 children, 3 grandchildren, and a senior pup from Austin Boxer Rescue, named Lyric. My life has consisted of caring for kids and animals for many years – it is what I do and I love to do it! While the kids were growing up, we had dogs, multiple fish and lizards, and an albino king snake that lived with us for 25 years!

My first pup as a child was rescued from the Austin Humane Shelter and her name was Sammy – I loved cuddling with her before and after school. Our family has renewed its commitment to rescue and for the past several years I’ve been a volunteer and foster Mom with Austin Boxer Rescue. I’ve cared for puppies and their Mama, taken in old “silverheart” boxers, helped rehab those recovering from surgery due to injury and fattened up the skinniest pups you’ve ever seen. It is a joy to work with the rescue, saving dogs from all over the state, and have trust and health restored to these abused and abandoned pups.

I am thrilled to be part of The Pet Gal team. I look forward to meeting you and to caring for and loving on your pets when you are away.
