I’m a homegrown central Texas gal, raised with an assortment of animals in the hills just west of Austin. My animals include dogs, cats, a goat, a parrot and a couple of horses. While in high school, I worked at a small grooming shop where I had the opportunity to work with many different dog breeds. I brought home an assortment of animals to care for and love.
To support my horse habit, I worked at Motorola Semiconductor for seven years. I had the opportunity to learn a lot about semiconductors, manufacturing, project management and training. The next 13 years were spent at The University of Texas at Austin, where I supported the IT department with a variety of administrative tasks. When I realized it would be twenty more years before I could retire, I decided to make a shift and focus on the outdoors and animals.
Today, I live with my two corgies, a cattle dog, six cats, three miniature horses, two large horses and an assortment of chickens. When I’m not caring for your animals, I’m caring for my fur family. My wonderful husband shares my love of animals and helps care for them when I’m gone.
I’m thrilled to have found The Pet Gal. It’s so nice to be on a team of like-minded professional pet sitters dedicated to the care of your pet while you are away.
