Pet Gal - Kona

team member

Aloha! I am so happy to be working with the Pet Gal and excited about meeting some of your fur and feather babies.

I grew up in a home filled with animals of all kinds; dogs, cats, snakes, birds, and hamsters, to name a few. During my tweens, I participated in equestrian horse shows, primarily as a showjumper. My love for animals has continued into my adult life, where today I work with my husband of thirty years, Reggie, and our rescue dog Gus on achieving his AKC Canine Good Citizen, as well as pursuing his therapy dog certification, and volunteering with the local hospice on canine visits.

Gus shares his home with our 14-year old tortie feline littermate sisters, Lily and Iris, with whom he has developed a love/indifference relationship. He wants to chase and play. They want to snuggle and sleep. The struggle is real, but happiness abounds.

In my life before the Big Island, I worked for many years in the corporate world managing virtual knowledge sharing communities for a large tax and financial services company. I recently completed a graduate program in Human Services Counseling – Life Coaching and am in the process of building a relationship and marriage coaching practice. In the meantime, and concurrently, I am happy to care for your pets as though they were my own.

I am so proud to be a part of the Pet Gal team of professionals, and am looking forward to meeting and working with you and caring for your pets.
