Pet Gal - Kona

team member

While growing up, I had so much love for animals that many people assumed I would become a veterinarian. I certainly have had a constant stream of the BEST dogs and cats (and occasional fish and hamster) and yet, somehow, I became a real estate agent/broker! Among the many skills from that occupation that translates well to pet sitting, is the realization of how important is the security of a client’s home and pets. I’ve been securing houses and pets for 35 years. While in California, I served on the Board of The A.C.E.S, Foundation, a non-profit that raised funds to enhance medical care for the animals at the El Cajon Animal Shelter. After long and successful careers, my husband and I retired to Kona in 2019. Since moving here, I have been a volunteer with the Hawaiian Island Humane Society, where I’ve had the pleasure of walking and interacting with their dogs & cats. Now I am excited to be able to interact with even more animals through my affiliation with The Pet Gal. I will treat your animals as if they were my own, which means they will be spoiled rotten and showered with tummy rubs. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members!
