My Okie heart is full of love for all fur creatures big or small!
After marrying a Texan, I relocated to the Austin area from Southern Oklahoma 5 years ago. We were blessed when we found our Anna Bell at a shelter and have enjoyed having her as our fur-child for the last 4 years. I graduated from East Central Oklahoma University with a degree in Criminal/Juvenile Justice, concentration in Law Enforcement. I have always had a passion to help others.
I grew up on a ranch working with horses, dogs, cats, chickens, goats, and so many other types of animals. We always had a loving family of dogs that would run around the ranch and house cats that would want cuddles constantly. My mother is a Veterinarian Technician and I volunteered at her clinic. I learned that animals are not only fun and exciting, but need a lot of care to flourish. I thank her for teaching me responsibility and empathy for all animals.
I served in the Air Force for six years, and our main mission and core values are: Integrity first, service before self, and excellence in all we do. I still hold to these core values today.
I enjoy the love, responsibility, excitement, loyalty, and laughter that animals bring into my life. Having this opportunity to be a part of the amazing group at Pet Gals is a dream come true.
